Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly in both English and Spanish, creating a welcoming shopping experience.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions.
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including operating the cash register and handling cash drawer operations accurately.
- Upsell additional products, accessories, or service plans to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales.
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Perform retail store product knowledge activities such as merchandising and product demos to promote featured items.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, maintaining professional communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases.
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially within wireless or electronics environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash handling procedures.
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership growth opportunities.
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette to build rapport with customers.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and basic math skills for transactions.
- Experience in grocery store or similar retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
