We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lighting
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests and work orders
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues in a timely manner
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks to help reduce downtime and repairs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in clean and safe condition
- Document completed work orders and communicate updates to management and other departments
- Support overall safety and compliance with hotel standards and regulations
- Assist with special projects, renovations, or emergency repairs as needed
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Good time management and ability to prioritize work orders
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with staff, management, and other departments
- Ability to effectively coordinate with other departments to support hotel operations
- Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and standard maintenance procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training or certification a plus
- Ability to work flexible schedules
