Position Summary
The AP Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering accounts payable transactions into our accounting system, including vendor bills, credit card expenses, and other company expenditures. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and eager to grow within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter accounts payable bills into QuickBooks Online (QBO) accurately and in a timely manner
- Record and categorize expenses, including credit card transactions and other company purchases
- Match invoices to purchase orders and job-related documentation
- Maintain organized digital records of vendor invoices and receipts
- Assist with vendor account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
- Communicate with team members and vendors regarding invoice and expense questions
- Support the accounting team with additional AP-related tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience is required for this position
- Proven experience entering AP bills and expenses (including credit card transactions)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Basic understanding of accounts payable processes
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Reliable, dependable, and a willingness to learn and be trained
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JobTread construction management software
- Prior experience in the construction or commercial concrete industry
- Familiarity with job costing concepts
