Provide targeted interventions to small groups of EL students in push in and / or pull out formats as needed.Administer testing of students and make recommendations for placement in the EL program if necessary.With assistance, analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and student intervention plans.Work with classroom teachers to develop and provide the most effective interventions and methods of instruction to address individual students needs.Complete progress reports for each student and communicate student achievement or challenge information to classroom teachers and parents making appropriate recommendations to facilitate student growth.Participate in professional opportunities to further develop area of expertise.Bilingual required or Strongly preferred.
