Responsibilities
- Maximizes uptime and ensures the operation of our Mobile & Heavy Equipment
- Diagnoses, repairs, & solves issues on equipment such as: Loaders (i.e. CAT 992, 990, 988), CAT Excavators, Dozers, CAT Haul Trucks (i.e. 777), Forklifts, Bobcats, Quarry Drills, & Quarry Wire Saws, Compressors, Generators, and other equipment.
- Leads & Manages department personnel - Assigns tasks & projects, and completes top priority Work Orders with strong throughput
- Oversees Preventative Maintenance Program & ensures completion of Pre-Shift Inspections by Operators
- Internally focused value engineered solutions for maintenance-related costs & issues
- Maintains routine service schedules on all equipment
- Assists with the research, sourcing, & advisement on parts
- Maintains Part Inventory & performs cost effective part ordering with team
- Manages and completes work orders
- Completes special projects and Capital Installations when needed
- Troubleshoots electrical problems
Requirements
- Well-rounded maintenance skills: electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical, and welding.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting ability with mobile and heavy equipment.
- Comfortable leading people, setting priorities, and holding work accountable.
- Capable of lifting 75 lbs.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to address high-priority maintenance needs on a short-term basis.
- Operating experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, or other compliance regulations is a plus.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Management: 5 years (Preferred)
- General Maintenance: 8 years (Preferred)
- Mobile & Heavy Equipment Maintenance: 8 years (Preferred)
- Electrical Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
- Welding: 4 years (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 4 years (Preferred)
- Mine Health & Safety Administration (MSHA): 3 years (Preferred)
