"York High School is seeking a Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach with a primary focus on leading and developing our growing girls wrestling program, while supporting the overall success of the varsity team.Responsibilities: Lead and grow the girls wrestling program, including recruiting, practice planning, and competition preparationCoach, mentor, and support student-athletes in both skill development and character growthAssist with varsity practices and contribute to overall team developmentProvide coaching support for both girls and boys athletes at meets and tournaments (including weekends)Help foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team cultureExperience Preferred: Wrestling experience (coaching and/or competitive background preferred)Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a varsity coaching staffAvailability for practices, meets, and tournamentsCPR/AED/First Aid and required coaching certifications (or willingness to obtain) "
