About the Role
As a Heavy Equipment Service Technician, you will leverage your technical expertise to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of industrial machinery. This role is designed for transitioning service members who want to apply their mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills in a high-growth, technology-forward environment.
Responsibilities-
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic software and digital work order systems.

Perform preventative maintenance and comprehensive repairs on heavy construction equipment and aerial lifts to ensure maximum operational uptime.

Document all service activities and parts usage accurately within our digital management platform to maintain fleet integrity.

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot challenging equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.

Mentor junior technicians by sharing technical knowledge and best practices to elevate overall team performance.

Coordinate with logistics teams to facilitate the efficient transport of equipment and necessary repair components.

Adhere to rigorous safety standards and environmental protocols during all maintenance procedures.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a military mechanic or in heavy equipment maintenance.

Advanced proficiency in interpreting complex electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate standard shop tools and diagnostic equipment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various positions.

Completion of trade school certification or equivalent technical training.

Prior experience in field service environments or industrial maintenance.
