Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Sioux City, IA.
Assignment Details
- Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5x8s or 4x10s
- Shift: Days (6:15 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Hours: 8-hour shifts
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS (AHA) required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Mandatory Reporter certification required
- CNOR preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Call & Weekend Requirements
- Every 4th weekend
- One on-call weekend (Friday–Sunday) per month
- Approximately 4 weekday call shifts per month
- Holiday call may be required based on staffing needs
Clinical Information
- Patient ratio: 3:1
- Cases include outpatient surgeries and infusion patients
- Experience with blood products, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, and antibiotics preferred
- No chemotherapy administration
Additional Information
- Travelers must have a permanent taxable residence more than 50 miles from the assignment location.
- Candidates may float to other campuses within the same discipline as needed.
