Job Summary
Are you a natural leader with a passion for cars and customer service? Grease Monkey is seeking a high-energy Assistant Center Manager to help lead our fast-paced, high-volume automotive service center. In this role, you will partner with the Center Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, mentor a team of "Pit Crew" technicians, and ensure every customer receives exceptional service. This is a hands-on leadership role that splits time between the front office and the service bays.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating a team of automotive service technicians to meet performance and safety standards.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, manage inventory levels, order parts, and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.
- Customer Experience: Greet customers, explain service recommendations clearly, handle customer inquiries professionally, and ensure fast, accurate service.
- Sales Growth: Drive center revenue by educating customers on preventative maintenance packages and meeting monthly performance targets.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce Grease Monkey’s safety protocols, ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations for fluid disposal, and perform quality checks on completed work.
- Technician Backup: Step into the service bays (Hood, Pit, or Courtesy roles) during peak times to keep vehicles moving through the "Pit Crew" process quickly.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
