Junior IP Patent Attorney (Full Time In-House / Hybrid in Minneapolis Area)
Latitude is partnering with an established, innovation-driven company to identify an IP patent attorney to join its in-house legal team. This is a permanent position with a hybrid work schedule based at the company's headquarters in the Minneapolis area. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered patent attorney early in their career who is looking to work alongside experienced legal counsel while helping protect and strengthen an innovative company's intellectual property portfolio.
In this role, you'll collaborate with attorneys, engineers, and business leaders to support a broad range of patent and IP matters while gaining valuable in-house experience in a collaborative, business-focused environment.
Basic Requirements of Junior IP Patent Attorney (Full Time In-House / Hybrid in Minneapolis Area):

J.D. from an accredited law school

Registered Patent Attorney admitted to practice before the USPTO, with at least 1 year of experience

Engineering or science undergraduate degree

Experience conducting patentability analyses and drafting patent applications

Demonstrated ability to analyze legal issues and develop practical, business-oriented solutions

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience with IP licensing or related agreements is a plus

Compensation:
Pay: The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $160,00. This position is also eligible for a bonus. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and leave.
