Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, and other non-alcoholic beverages with precision and care, following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the juicing station, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions about menu options, and ensuring a positive experience
- Assist with food preparation tasks related to beverages and light snacks to support overall café operations
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all products meet health standards and quality expectations
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality or safety
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred, especially barista or beverage preparation roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions
- Strong knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation techniques and food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper cleaning procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours
