Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your expertise in mechanical systems, landscaping, and general maintenance will ensure that our environment remains welcoming, safe, and well-kept. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of tasks, from supervising lawn care and landscape maintenance to equipment repairs and troubleshooting all while contributing to the overall upkeep of our property.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for various repair or installation projects.
- Supervise the maintenance of lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, and irrigation system management to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal.
- Execute procedures during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
- Support tree care activities such as trimming or removal to promote safety and landscape health while adhering to horticultural best practices. Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance or landscaping roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, irrigation management, and gardening practices.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and excavators.
- Experience working with construction or hardscape projects is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care techniques is desirable.
