Job Description:
- Four Day Work Week, most Fridays off.
- If you're a master tech tired of flat rate, we will train you in electrified cars.
- Repair Hybrids, Plug-In Hybrids, and Electric Cars.
- Maintain a fleet of approximately 30 HEV-EV vehicles.
- Work in an air conditioned shop.
- Diagnose and repair used HEV-EVs for resale.
- Work on educational HEV-EV training aids.
- Once fully trained, we will ask you to assist in the classroom.
The Perfect applicant would have these characteristics.
- A well-trained automotive technician.
- Well organized with excellent electrical, computer, scan, and scope education and experience.
- If you are well-trained in the areas listed above, but your training in electric and hybrid cars is limited, you would still be considered for this position.
- Loves to solve problems.
- Knows the future will be electric cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
- Wants to work for a forward thinking and growing company with a chance of advancement.

Location is Worcester, MA near UMass Medical Center
Our History: Corporate name is Van Batenburg’s Garage, Inc. The owner, Craig Van Batenburg, started his company in 1977 as a Honda specialist. Craig is the sole owner and is technician-focused. Located in the same building along with our EV repair shop is our training center, ACDC, which provides technical training for technicians worldwide to advance their skills in electric cars. Our 4,800 sq. foot building has air conditioning and well equipped. We currently offer HEV and EV Repairs at Worcester EV, our D/B/A. We recently opened an EV service center and need a qualified technician to works on customers' EVs.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
