Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Condominium Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of residential condominium communities. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of property maintenance, tenant relations, legal compliance, and financial administration. Duties
- Manage all aspects of condominium property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations
- Oversee lease or rental agreement management, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management, including scheduling repairs and inspections using systems like Yardi or OneSite
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other regulatory requirements
- Conduct conflict management and resolution between residents or staff to promote a harmonious community environment
- Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping for contracts, lease agreements, and property documentation
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for rent collection, tenant communication, and reporting purposes
- Engage in customer service activities by addressing resident inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support property leasing efforts through upselling amenities or additional services to prospective tenants
- Collaborate with property management companies to ensure compliance with all operational policies and procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in property management with a focus on condominium communities or residential complexes
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, and Section 8 housing policies
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or comparable platforms
- Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills to resolve disputes effectively
- Legal administrative experience related to contracts, leases, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage property maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools
- Office experience with data entry, filing systems, and administrative support functions
- Familiarity with facilities management practices including health & safety standards and building inspections
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and contract administration
