Our Practice is a specialty in Dermatology is a growing leader in Clinical Trails in Tampa
As a Medical Assistant, you play a direct role in providing and implementing hands-on interventions with a well known Doctors and Providers . The position requires not only back office experience but also front office clerical experience. This position will require excellent computer skills and patient complaint. The Doctor is willing to teach and is involved directly with the staff supervision.
We are looking for someone who can take a fast pace office. Must be organized , good with paperwork and computers. We are looking for a very competent candidate that has worked in Medical Practice setting with great computer skills.

Job Summary:
- Works as part of the intake team to ensure clients are seen promptly.
- Obtains medical history, and reviews treatment plans with the client.
- Makes an initial consultation call for the evaluation session to prepare the initial visit.
- Assists with the educational process as well as the referral to appropriate resources, obtains lab work from primary doctors and does a through history on the patient.
- Does injections, Lab work under the supervision of a physician.
- Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program required
- A certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program for IV infusion or company will sponsor.

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
