Job Summary
· Perform required tasks to ensure customer orders are pulled and ready for delivery to meet customer needs.
· Must be able to work in a team-oriented and “Safety First” environment. Safely, efficiently and effectively work to attain department and company goals and objectives.
· Safely and accurately operate both sit down forklift and stand up reach truck in tight space.
· Ensure sewing/assigned areas are kept in compliance with company safety standards. Including, but not limited to: sweeping the area, removing garbage, pallets, and debris from the building, and placed in the proper areas.
·Cut and pack material
· Must be receptive to working in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships with others.
· Communicate with coworkers, face to face.
· Develops sewing area design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.
· Picking, packing and shipping daily sewing orders.
· Responsible for inventory management in an accurate and timely manner.
· Verification of the material against picking list and system if necessary.
· Manage and oversee the correct packaging and shipment of each outbound customer order; oversee and ensure the receipt of all incoming inventory orders.
· Packaging and cutting & material
· Previous sewing machines experience will be a plus
· Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
· Reading orders and stock labels and locating inventory promptly.
· Ability to listen to, read, and follow directions
Qualifications and Skills
· Product assembly and packing.
· Computer and minor mechanical skill is a plus.
· Using basic math skills
