A dynamic contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to fill a leave coverage role with a well-established school community in the Ontario area. This onsite-only position begins as soon as possible and continues through October 30, 2026, offering a meaningful way to contribute your expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and current SLPA credential required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ready for an immediate start and able to work onsite throughout the assignment
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students on the assigned caseload, providing direct and indirect language and speech services
- Assist with documentation, progress monitoring, and preparation of therapy materials
- Communicate student progress and needs with SLP supervisor and school team
- Maintain confidentiality in student matters and comply with school and district protocols
