ArcelorMittal Tubular Products (AMTP) in Shelby, Ohio produces welded and seamless tubes that serve a variety of markets. We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires flexibility to work any shift, overtime as needed, and a 7-day work week when production demands.

Industrial Electrician's Duties and Responsibilities:
· Apply electrical theory to determine root cause of failures and their corrective actions.
· Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motors (up to 2400VAC and 500VDC) as well as a variety of other electrical equipment· Interpret electrical schematics and PLC programs.
· Perform conduit installation and wire sizing.
· Understand the functions of electrical and electro-mechanical items such as sensors, relays, limit switches, flow switches, valves, etc.
Industrial Electrician's Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (required).
· Completion of journeyman certification in an industrial environment or 5 years of experience in industrial electricity.
· Electrical license preferred.
· Electrical knowledge, including 24 volts.
· Experience with PLC programs.
· Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, sketches, and plans.
· Basic PC skills.
· Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces and at heights.
· Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift, scissor and articulating lifts.
· Observe and follow all safety regulations and procedures.
