About Us:
Miss Candace’s House Early Learning Center is a brand-new, high-quality childcare and early learning facility designed to feel like home — warm, welcoming, and full of hands-on learning. Our mission is to nurture curiosity, confidence, and creativity in young children through play-based exploration and meaningful relationships.
Position:
We’re looking for experienced, loving, and motivated Lead Teachers who are excited to create engaging classroom environments and guide children through discovery-based learning. If you believe that play is learning and that connection is the foundation of education, you’ll fit right in here.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports whole-child growth (social, emotional, cognitive, and physical)
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and organized classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document children’s development
- Build strong, positive relationships with families and teammates
- Model respect, patience, and joy in every interaction
- Collaborate with the center director and co-teachers to maintain licensing standards and uphold the center’s philosophy
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- ECE Certificate, CDA, or degree in Early Childhood Education (or working toward one) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to create lesson plans and manage a classroom
- Passion for early learning, play-based education, and supporting children’s growth
- Reliable, kind, and team-oriented
