Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Proven experience working with preschool-age children, preferably in a school-based setting
- Strong knowledge of communication disorders and effective intervention strategies for young learners
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
- Ability to provide high-quality services on-site, with dependability and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to Pre-K students, focusing on individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for new referrals, interpreting results for caregivers and educators
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities to foster communication development
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, occupational therapists, and other professionals to maximize student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records
- Consult with families, providing resources and strategies to support speech-language development at home
