Qualifications:
- Nevada Certified Nursing Assistant License or Successful completion of State Approved Nurse Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program within the last year (Name must appear on State Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.)
- As a Nurse Assistant in Training newly graduated NAT you must not have worked more than 120 days in another facility.
Position Summary: In the role of a Nursing Assistant, your primary responsibilities involve providing essential care to patients. This includes assisting with bathing and dressing, monitoring vital signs, gathering information from caregivers and medical professionals, and promptly responding to patient calls. You also play a crucial role in assessing patients for injuries or wounds, repositioning bedridden individuals, and ensuring their comfort. Your duties extend to lifting and transferring patients, maintaining cleanliness in patient areas, and attending to various hygiene needs, such as bedpan assistance and room restocking. Additionally, you serve as a vital link between nurses, doctors, and patients, meticulously documenting and communicating all pertinent information to the medical staff.
