Job Summary
FSA Capital is looking for a hands-on UX/Product Designer to support our buyer mobile app, agent/admin portals, and end-to-end homebuying workflows.
This role is focused on product thinking, workflow design, usability, and developer handoff. We are not looking for someone who only creates polished high-fidelity mockups. We need someone who can understand product problems, simplify user flows, create clear designs, and help the team move faster toward launch.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct UX reviews to identify usability issues and improve product flows.
· Translate requirements into wireframes, user flows, and polished mobile/web designs in Figma.
· Define key UX states and edge cases (loading, empty, error, confirmation, etc.).
· Provide developer handoff documentation, acceptance criteria, and design QA feedback.
· Maintain design consistency across products and support usability testing and iterative improvements.
· Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
· 1-3 years of UX, product design, or web/mobile app design experience
· Strong product thinking and problem-solving skills
· Experience designing user flows, wireframes, and app/web screens
· Strong Figma skills
· Comfortable designing for both mobile apps and web dashboards/portals
· Ability to work from imperfect requirements and ask good clarifying questions
· Strong attention to detail, especially around forms, workflows, statuses, and edge cases
· Ability to communicate design decisions clearly
· Comfortable working with developers and supporting handoff/QA
· Practical, organized, and comfortable in a startup environment
Preferred Skills
· Experience with marketplace, real estate, fintech, CRM, workflow, or operations tools
· Experience designing onboarding, document, consent, or dashboard workflows
· Basic understanding of frontend/backend product constraints
· Experience with usability testing or writing acceptance criteria
Portfolio
Please include a portfolio or work samples. We are especially interested in examples that show how you solved a product or workflow problem, not just polished visual design.
