Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate Wine Consultant to join our team. As a Wine Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, sharing your knowledge of our wines, and assisting customers in selecting the perfect wine for their needs.
Duties
- Assist customers in choosing wines based on their preferences and occasions
- Provide information on different wine varieties, regions, and pairings
- Offer recommendations for food and wine pairings
- Process sales transactions accurately using a POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience
Requirements
- 5 years experience with retail or restaurant wine sales
- Strong ability to sell and promote products effectively
- Experience in cash handling and using a cash register
- Knowledge of classic wine regions as well as current trends
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Wine experience a must
