Schedule: Day Shift, Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift contract opportunity in State College, Pennsylvania. This role functions as a clinical consultant for skin prevention, wound care, ostomy care, and continence needs while supporting patients, staff, and care teams in an inpatient setting.
Responsibilities
Provide consultation and nursing support for wound, ostomy, continence, and skin prevention needs
Assess patients and develop appropriate wound and ostomy care recommendations
Collaborate with staff, physicians, patients, and families to support quality outcomes
Educate clinical staff and patients on wound prevention, ostomy management, and care planning
Document care, assessments, and interventions accurately using EPIC
Requirements
Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License Required
Minimum 3 years of professional nursing experience with medical-surgical patients required
Board Certification In Wound, Ostomy, And Continence Nursing Required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
Strong communication, professional judgment, teamwork, and patient education skills required
