Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Cook / Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, sandwich making, and customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality food items while maintaining a clean and organized work area and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items following established recipes and standards.
- Perform food prep duties, including slicing, portioning, and cooking proteins and ingredients.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, prep areas, and equipment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner while taking and assembling orders.
- Restock food, supplies, and ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a kitchen, deli, or food service environment preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Typical schedule: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM, with some flexibility based on business needs.
