Position Title: Construction Foreman/Coordinator
Project Location: Savannah, GA
Pinnacle Air Solutions is a leading mechanical contractor based out of Jacksonville, FL. Specializing in providing services regarding the plan, design and build of HVAC systems in new construction multifamily construction projects. Pinnacle Air Solutions is currently looking for a Construction Foreman/Coordinator. The Foreman works under the Project Manager to manage day-to-day operations and work flow of projects. This individual is responsible for the enforcement of Pinnacle standard practices for safety, materials management, quality control as well as setting the tone for communication and coordination between all parties related to the construction project.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Functions include the following. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. Foremen manage the day-to-day operations and workflow, to ensure we deliver each project on time, within budget and on schedule.
· Experience with managing/leading/training teams, crews or other employees
· Knowledge and understanding of processes, deadlines and scheduling
· Ability to communicate with installers, superintendents, building inspectors
· Ability to support and drive production of crews in a timely completion of installations
· Knowledge in construction, mechanical trades or framing is a plus
· Mechanical aptitude is preferred
· Good written and verbal business skills
· Motivation in a deadline-driven construction environment
· Perform constant assessment of quality checks
· Basic comprehension and ability to learn to read new construction blue prints/plans
· Ability to multitask, work independently, as part of a larger team and motivate subs/vendors
Education, Experience and Preferred Qualifications include the following.
· High School Diploma or GED
· Associates Degree or Trade School Certification or Military Experience is preferred
· 2-5 years minimum in the construction industry and/ or management position
· Clear driving record and auto insurance
· Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather (extreme heat or cold), exposure to dust
· Physically able to repetitively lift and/or carry 20+ lbs. regularly
· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
· Ability to stand, walk, sit, grasp, squat, kneel, bend, reach, climb stairs
· Loud noises
· On-the-Job Training
· Gain experience leading a large project
· Provide Forklift/Manlift Training
