Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within our manufacturing environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, and high/low voltage systems.
- Manage facilities maintenance teams, assigning tasks effectively while ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Oversee the implementation of maintenance repair procedures using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and maintenance history.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing schematics and diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, electrical systems, and plumbing system maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Lead projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, managing timelines, resources, and safety compliance throughout the process.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards while maintaining detailed records of inspections, repairs, and safety audits.
Skills
- Proven management experience with supervising facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and plumbing system maintenance.
- Proficiency in using schematics, technical manuals, CMMS software, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for industrial safety compliance.
- Effective team management skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate staff toward continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English with strong written and verbal skills for clear instructions and documentation.
