Whiting Community School District is currently seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals to join our transportation team for the upcoming school year.
We are looking to fill the following positions:
These positions play a vital role in supporting our students by providing safe and timely transportation to and from the West Monona Community School District (approximately 15 minutes from Whiting) for a variety of school activities.
Position Details:
Daytime and afternoon/early evening opportunities available
Flexible hours based on activity schedules
Great opportunity to stay involved with school programs and students
Responsibilities include:
Safely transporting students in accordance with all state and district guidelines
Maintaining a positive and orderly environment during travel
Conducting basic vehicle checks before and after trips
Communicating effectively with students and staff
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license (CDL required for bus drivers, not suburban or van drivers)
Strong commitment to student safety
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to pass required background checks
