Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and responsible people to work on Saturdays and Sundays. As a weekend cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of business spaces, and possible private residential homes. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to providing exceptional service to our clients during weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of business and/or residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded
- Possibly handling laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens
- Clean floors using appropriate floor care equipment and techniques for various surfaces
- Use cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to proper handling procedure
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences
- Operate janitorial equipment efficiently, ensuring all tools are well-maintained and stored properly
- Prioritize time management to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications
- Must be honest, willing to work and reliable
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles; janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, detergents, and supplies used in commercial or residential settings
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients if needed.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient task completion during weekend shifts
- Reliable transportation to arrive promptly for scheduled weekend work sessions
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
