As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a motivated Inside Customer Service Supervisor who can help elevate our customer experience, support our growing team, and contribute to our next level of success.
About the Role
You will be the frontline leader for our inside customer service and inside sales efforts. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you’ll combine strong customer service and sales skills with the ability to train, mentor, and guide a small team. You’ll handle high-volume inquiries, technical product questions, order processing, and proactive customer outreach while building lasting relationships and identifying opportunities to match the right solutions to customer projects.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the inside customer service team — answer phones and emails, process orders, and ensure accurate, timely data entry
- Handle technical product questions and guide customers to the best lighting solutions for their projects
- Make proactive “reach-out” calls to existing and potential customers (not traditional cold calling)
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships; follow up on needs and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Troubleshoot customer issues and escalate as needed while maintaining a high level of satisfaction
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Jump in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly in a collaborative, small-team environment
- Track performance metrics and help implement improvements that take our customer service to the next level
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related supervisory role
- Strong phone presence and excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle technical questions and explain products clearly
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a track record of accuracy under volume
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and pride in delivering results on time
- Experience training or mentoring staff is highly valued
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and supporting a team in a fast-paced setting
- Construction, electrical, lighting, or building industry experience is a plus (but not required — we will train on our products)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Reliable, positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers and teammates succeed
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour (depending on experience) + commission opportunities
- Full-time, steady schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (no nights or weekends)
