Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will hold an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associates Certification. They will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and lessons. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to implement effective teaching strategies that promote literacy, physical education, and overall childhood development.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Educate children in various subjects, including literacy education, physical education, and social skills.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing early intervention when necessary to support their learning needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the child's educational journey.
- Utilize Montessori methods or other educational frameworks as appropriate to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
