The Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven, people-first Setter Manager to build and lead an appointment-setting team in Nashville. You’ll be the engine behind our closers’ pipeline — recruiting, training, and developing a team of up to 10 setters who book qualified appointments and represent the Avid Lights brand the right way
This is a high-leverage, high-earning role for someone who loves building teams, coaching talent, and driving results.
What You’ll Do
- Set appointments yourself in your local market, leading from the front and modeling what great looks like
- Recruit, interview, and hire setters who fit our culture and standards
- Train new hires from day one through ramp — scripts, objection handling, mindset, and activity metrics
- Build a team of up to 10 setters, holding them accountable to daily KPIs
- Partner with closers and local leadership to keep the pipeline full and the conversion engine running
- Protect the culture — hire for character, coach for skill, create an environment people don’t want to leave
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience setting appointments, direct sales, or leading a sales/setter team (door-to-door or home services experience a big plus)
- A natural recruiter who knows how to find good people and get them excited
- Strong coach and trainer who can break down what works and teach it
- Competitive, organized, KPI-driven
- High-integrity leader who builds people up
- Comfortable being measured on team performance, not just your own
Schedule: Evenings/weekends expected given door-to-door setting hours
Compensation
- Base: $500 a week
- Plus commissions and overrides on your team’s production
- OTE: $75,000–$180,000/year, scaling with team size and performance
