Duties
- Operate and maintain machinery such as lathes and press brake machines to produce high-quality components.
- Utilize hand tools for assembly, fabrication, and repair tasks as required.
- Assist in programming CNC machines, particularly Fanuc systems, to ensure precise manufacturing processes.
- Implement tooling techniques to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Engage in materials handling, including the movement, packaging, and storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote workplace safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines while adhering to GD&T standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with lathes, press brake machines, hand tools, and basic programming skills.
- Familiarity with tooling processes and materials handling techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects as required by the job duties.
