PA Licensed Private Special Ed School Seeks 1:1 Educational/Behavioral Aide
Immediate opening for a 1:1 educational/behavioral aide 6.5 hours per day five days per week in Newtown Square, PA. Work with bright language-disordered children. A great way to gain experience working in an intensive speech and language program that provides experience in speech therapy, occupational therapy with a sensory integration focus, literacy and structured language. Behavioral training and experience helpful but not required. Preferred two year degree in communication, psychology, education, social work or a related field. Great position for a college student or those taking a gap year in Communication Sciences, Occupational Therapy or Special Education. 1:1s can continue into the next school year if interested.
Hourly position with competitive pay. Hours are 8:15am to 2:45pm.
Up to date Pennsylvania child abuse background check, federal and state criminal history clearances (all indicating a clear record) and physical exam with a tuberculosis test must be completed and presented to school prior to beginning employment.
