Minuteman Press is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the point of contact for customers seeking professional printing, marketing, and graphic design services. You’ll help clients from initial inquiry through order completion, ensuring a smooth and positive experience every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer phones and emails, and guide clients through printing, marketing, and design projects
- Create accurate quotes, enter and track orders, and coordinate closely with management, production, and design
- Process payments and resolve issues professionally and quickly
- Recommend additional products and services that help boost sales
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Support daily operations with production assistance as needed
Must-Have Qualifications
- 1+ years of proven customer service experience in a face-to-face environment (retail, hospitality, print, or similar)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, solution-oriented approach
- Strong Math Skills
- Exceptional Attention to detail
- Ability to perform light physical labor (lifting and moving boxes of paper, printed materials, and supplies, typically up to 30–50 lbs)
- Comfortable using computers, basic office software, and learning order-management systems
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities without constant supervision
Strongly Preferred
- Prior experience in a print shop, commercial printing, or graphic design environment
- Familiarity with print terminology, file preparation, basic graphic design concepts or point-of-sale systems
