What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of B2B or technical sales experience
- 5+ years in industrial instrumentation, controls, sensors, or process engineering preferred (adjacent technical backgrounds welcome)
- Comfortable with technical conversations and building long-term customer relationships
- Strong organization and follow-up skills, works well independently
- Willing to travel throughout Wisconsin (~25%)

What you'll do:
→ Own your territory: Develop and execute a sales strategy for Wisconsin, building a strong pipeline of new and existing business
→ Build relationships: Develop long-term relationships with plant managers, engineers, purchasing departments, OEMs, distributors, and system integrators
→ Solve problems: Meet with customers to understand their applications and identify the right technical solution
→ Develop new business: Prospect for new opportunities while expanding relationships and product offerings within existing accounts
→ Manage the full sales cycle: Coordinate opportunities from initial inquiry through quotation, order placement, delivery, and follow-up, maintaining consistent pipeline visibility
→ Partner with manufacturers and distributors: Work directly with our manufacturer principals on product selection, pricing, and project development, while supporting and growing our distributor network
→ Get in front of customers: Conduct regular plant visits, application reviews, and product demonstrations throughout Wisconsin
→ Represent the company: Serve as a professional representative of Finn & Conway at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events while staying current on manufacturer training

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to own and grow our Wisconsin territory. This is a field based position for someone who enjoys meeting customers, solving technical problems, developing new business, and building long-term relationships.
In this role you will work alongside customers and our manufacturer partners to understand applications, identify solutions, develop projects, and drive opportunities from the initial conversation through the final order and implementation.
