ELECTRONICS-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC
RBDS is expanding our Welder machine (Lincoln and Miller) and Servo motor repair team in our Reading BDS / Reading Electric location.
We test, repair, and calibrate welders and in our servo department we test, repair, and align precision servo motors and encoders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Repairing welders and associated welding equipment and Servo motors and other rotating equipment.
· Occasional servicing and repairing equipment in the field.
QUALIFICATONS:
If you already have experience repairing welders or servo motors, we will consider relocating expenses.
Electronics training or experience troubleshooting electronic equipment
· Strong mechanical ability.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to look at parts breakdowns and identify parts needed for repairs.
· Must have own small hand tools.
· Ability to use measuring equipment, ex. Micrometers and dial calipers.
· Ability to use a Volt Meter.
· Able to work independently as well as part of a team
· Goals oriented to meet individual and company key performance indicators
· Able to lift 85lbs
· High School Degree/GED required.
· Light rigging experience a plus.
· Welding and oxy- acetylene torch experience a plus.
· Light manual machining experience a plus.
· Strong electrical/mechanical background desired.
· Strong communication skills are required.
· Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must have a valid driver’s license.
* The ideal person must be open to change and willing to learn and contribute to improve processes.
** Normal work days are M-F 7:00am – 3:30pm. However, must be able to work OT including weekends when needed. (Salary is negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.)
