Director of Human Resources
Location: 100% On-Site, Windsor, CT Area
Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
A growing, family-owned manufacturing company is seeking a
Director of Human Resources to lead key HR functions and partner closely with executive leadership.
This role is ideal for an HR leader who enjoys balancing strategic influence with hands-on execution of employee relations, staffing/recruiting, HRIS, compensation, and workforce planning.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Lead and oversee all employee relations activities, providing guidance on complex workplace issues and investigations.
- Drive staffing and recruiting strategies to support ongoing growth and talent acquisition needs.
- Own and optimize HRIS and HR technology platforms, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small HR team.
- Serve as a trusted business partner to the C-suite, providing counsel on organizational, talent, and workforce planning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR management experience with direct supervisory responsibility of small teams.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, recruiting, HR operations, and HRIS management.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
