Position Summary
ServiceMaster Elite Clean is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented EVS Terminal Cleaner to join our Environmental Services team in Baton Rouge. This evening position is responsible for performing thorough terminal cleaning of operating rooms and surgical areas after the day's procedures have been completed. The EVS Terminal Cleaner plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, sanitized, and safe environment that is ready for the next day's surgical schedule.
Responsibilities

Perform terminal cleaning and disinfection of operating rooms after the final surgical case.

Clean and sanitize walls, floors, lights, equipment, furniture, and all high-touch surfaces according to healthcare standards.

Remove trash, soiled linens, and biohazard waste following established safety protocols.

Restock supplies and prepare operating rooms for the next day's procedures.

Follow all infection prevention, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude while working in a healthcare environment.

Complete assigned cleaning tasks accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous environmental services or healthcare cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
