Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Process cash, credit card, and digital transactions swiftly and accurately
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items, including wine and spirits, to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas following food safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Manage reservations using platforms like OpenTable to ensure smooth seating flow
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially fine dining or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle money responsibly
- Basic math skills for bill calculations and sales processing
- Food handling certification and adherence to sanitation standards required by local health regulations
- Experience with food safety practices and food industry regulations is a plus
