Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cargo van to deliver goods according to scheduled routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo when necessary, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Assist with organizing shipments to streamline delivery processes.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during delivery, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Responsible for completing over-the-road deliveries in a safe, timely, and professional manner while maintaining flexibility to travel as needed.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
- Follow safety protocols consistently to prevent accidents or damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred but not required
- Must successfully pass a background check and maintain a clean criminal record.
- Must be flexible and willing to travel for over-the-road assignments as needed.
- Prior delivery driver experience or familiarity with route driving is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to loading, unloading, moving items, or operating equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Experience handling cargo vans; manual transmission experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures including inventory management and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
