The Arc Erie County is currently seeking Community Habilitation Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who wish to get paid to have fun!
Our Community Habilitation DSP II’s provide direct supervision to community & residential individuals in all facets of daily living (one-on-one or group settings). This position also:
- Supports individuals to accomplish their personal goals & outcomes to achieve greater independence
- Provide services in the community or in individual’s home
- Great opportunity to gain experience in the Human Services field
- No traditional assigned shifts, choose your schedule!!
Current openings: Per diem with growth possibilities
Shift: Weekends and evenings required!
Pay Rate: $18.21/hr.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma with 1 year of full-time human services experience (can be combo of paid & volunteer)
OR
- Associate degree (60 credit hours completed) with 6 months human services experience
OR
- Bachelor's degree with no experience
- Valid NYS driver's license with approved record is required as well as ownership and access to an insured car in good operating condition.
