Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction site experience, exceptional management skills, and a deep understanding of construction management software and scheduling tools. As a Construction Superintendent, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review technical drawings, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Your leadership will drive project success while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Duties
- Lead daily operations on the construction site, supervising teams of workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction schedules to coordinate activities effectively.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam to develop project schedules, track progress, and manage documentation.
- Oversee construction schedule coordination to meet project milestones while managing budgets through accurate estimating and cost control measures.
- Enforce federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and OSHA-compliant safety protocols; conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
- Supervise quality control processes by inspecting work for compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standards; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers; review contractual documents to ensure scope adherence and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct construction drawing reviews to verify accuracy before implementation; interpret technical drawings and schematics for onsite execution.
- Coordinate construction schedule updates using Primavera P6 or Primavera software to ensure timely project delivery.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary; interpret technical data for troubleshooting purposes.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, inspections, and progress reports; communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with a strong background in Multi-Family or Commercial construction
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role with supervisory experience on active sites.
- Strong understanding of federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) along with experience implementing safety programs onsite.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics; proficient in blueprint reading.
- Experience in construction scheduling and project planning using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques for budgeting purposes; capable of managing costs effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ability to operate construction site equipment safely; familiarity with tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
