Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and professional Front Office Manager to serve as the welcoming face of Academica Nevada. This role is pivotal in creating an exceptional atmosphere for staff, guests, and visitors, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence in education and community support. As a self-starter, you will proactively enhance the customer experience, manage daily office operations, and contribute to our internal culture. This position combines receptionist duties with administrative support, requiring a blend of hospitality, organization, and initiative to align with our mission of advancing charter school success.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest and Staff Experience: Greet visitors, staff, and guests with warmth and professionalism, providing the first positive impression of Academica Nevada. Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Atmosphere and Experience Enhancement: Independently identify and implement ways to elevate the office environment and customer experience, such as organizing welcoming spaces, suggesting improvements to processes, or introducing small touches that make visits memorable.
- Receptionist Duties: Handle front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, managing mail and deliveries, and maintaining a tidy and inviting reception area.
- Supply Management: Monitor, order, and restock office supplies, kitchen items, and other essentials to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Event and Culture Support: Assist in planning and executing company events, team-building activities, and internal initiatives to strengthen our workplace culture and support our educational mission.
- Administrative Support: Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and coordinating with vendors, while seeking opportunities to streamline workflows and contribute to team efficiency.
- Mission Alignment: Act as a self-starter by proactively identifying ways to support Academica Nevada's goals, such as fostering positive relationships with school partners or contributing ideas for operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years in office management, reception, customer service, or administrative roles, ideally in an educational, nonprofit, or professional services environment. Experience in event coordination or hospitality is a plus.
- Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for managing supplies, schedules, and multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office software; familiarity with CRM or scheduling tools is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve creatively, and take initiative without constant supervision.

Pay: $21.63 - $22.00 per hour
