FOOD TRAILER OPERATIONS MANAGER

Union Station Smokehouse is seeking a Food Trailer Operations Manager to oversee our mobile food trailer operation at festivals, fairs, community events, private parties, fundraisers, and other special events.
This is not a traditional restaurant position.
You choose how often you want to work, which events you want to take, and have the opportunity to earn more by taking on additional events and helping grow the operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport the food trailer to events
- Set up and prepare the trailer for service
- Serve customers and represent the Smokehouse brand
- Maintain food safety standards
- Manage event inventory and supplies
- Handle customer interactions professionally
- Clean and close down the trailer after events
- Return dishes, equipment, and leftover product to the restaurant
- Communicate event needs and opportunities to management
Most food preparation is completed at Union Station Smokehouse and transported to the trailer. Your primary responsibility is managing the event and serving guests.
For the right individual, additional cooking equipment can be added to the trailer, providing opportunities to expand menu offerings and operate more independently.

CERTIFICATIONS
ServSafe Certification is required.

COMPENSATION
Compensation is based on a percentage of event sales.
The more events you work, the more you earn.
The more successful the event, the more you earn.
This position offers significant flexibility and the opportunity to manage a unique operation without the financial risk of owning your own trailer.
