Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to assess vehicle damage and provide accurate estimates for repairs. This role requires excellent customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and prepare detailed estimates for repair work.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and repair recommendations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining estimates and repair processes clearly to clients.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, automotive technologies, and repair techniques.
- Handle cash transactions and manage billing processes efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dealership or auto service environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Able to work with PartsTrader and StateFarm Estimates.
- Work with assignments through Pathways.
- Familiarity with CCC One or similar estimating software is a plus.
- Experience in auto estimating, service writing, or automotive repair is highly desirable..
- Excellent communication skills (English & Spanish) with focus on customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales experience is a plus; ability to upsell services effectively is essential.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
