Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including emergency medicine, outpatient clinics, and geriatrics. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients, whether they are receiving care in a hospital, clinic, or at home.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with mobility and transportation needs, including transferring clients to and from appointments.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Engage in recreational activities to promote mental and physical well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience or knowledge in a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
