Job Summary
T3 Towing LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Tow Truck Driver / pick up trucks and car trailers.Driver to join our team.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving trucks and pulling car trailers is required.
- Experience operating a tow truck is preferred.
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish preferred).
- Must be able to accurately follow GPS directions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tow trucks and transport vehicles.
- Load and unload vehicles using a car trailer when needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Follow dispatch instructions and GPS directions.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
- Deliver products efficiently along designated routes while maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
- Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, answer questions, and build positive relationships through professional customer interactions.
- Manage merchandise handling with care, including heavy lifting and merchandising tasks, ensuring items are transported securely and presented well at retail locations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and document any issues or repairs needed to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Organize daily routes for optimal efficiency using organizational skills and route planning tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving or retail store delivery roles; familiarity with route driving is preferred.
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and basic record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial truck driving and transportation safety standards.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in automobile transportation or commercial truck driving is highly desirable.
- Organizational skills to plan routes effectively and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
