Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, reliable Lead Gatehouse Security Officer to oversee gatehouse operations at a premium gated residential community. In this role, you will represent our security agency on-site, serving as the primary liaison between our team and the community's Homeowners Association (HOA). You will lead a dedicated team of officers, ensuring strict access control, exceptional neighborly customer service, and absolute compliance with contract post orders, relying on sharp observation, clear communication, and professional de-escalation.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract & Post Order Compliance: Ensure the on-site gatehouse team strictly adheres to the security agency’s contract terms and neighborhood-specific HOA guidelines.
- Access Control & Visitor Verification: Oversee entry points, verify guest and vendor credentials, and log vehicle data accurately using community security software.
- Non-Violent Conflict Resolution: Diffuse entry disputes with delivery drivers, unannounced guests, or residents using professional communication and de-escalation techniques.
- Incident Documentation & Escalation: Complete detailed daily activity reports
- Emergency Dispatch Hub: Serve as the primary, unarmed point of contact to grant rapid property access and directional guidance to police, fire, or medical responders.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensing: Must possess an active Florida Class "D" Security Officer License
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of contract security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, lead, or site-commander capacity within a residential setting.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to operate the community’s unarmed patrol golf cart or vehicle.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience operating gate automation software, visitor management systems (e.g., GateHouse, Envera, DwellingLive), and CCTV monitors.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods inside or around a gatehouse, and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
