Duties
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Deliver a complete line of products including our original Gourmet Frozen Fruit Bars, Snack Breads, Nuts, Trail Mixes, Gummies, Pretzels and Popcorn efficiently to multiple customer locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Our customers are local stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, schools, hospitals, golf courses and other sport venues.
- Engage with customers professionally to provide excellent service, answer questions, and promote additional products through upselling techniques
- Manage route documentation, including delivery logs, sales records, and inventory counts
- Conduct merchandising activities by organizing displays and ensuring product presentation meets company standards
- Perform heavy lifting when loading and unloading goods to ensure proper handling and safety
- Maintain organizational skills to keep delivery schedules on track and routes optimized for efficiency
Requirements
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and ability to obtain other licensures as required by state law and have a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of route driving
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, sales transactions, and inventory counts
- Experience in sales or upselling products is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for engaging customers is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (40 lbs) safely and handle physical demands of the role
- Organizational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage daily tasks effectively
